This profession has been hit many times, amazingly this prof. still strong but as far as i know the new upcoming skill balance update that everyone looking for will hit this prof. and send him to oblivion i guess..

The Ritualist of course!
- Heals better than a Monk (Restoration)
- Deals as much damage as an Ele (Channeling)
- Protects the party (Communing)
- Can be used as a minion master (Spawning)
- Farms (VwK)
Next comes the Ranger, also due to its versatility

Monks are the best, hands down. Their healing and protection, of course, is unmatched, and they are the most desirable class in the game. What's not to love?

Easy question, Mesmer!
I think its one of the most unique class around...unlike warrior which is very dull and can be seen in EVERY rpg. But than again rpg needs a melee brute! ^^

Warrior for me, I like the idea of being a sword wielding knight.
Ranger, would come a close second, since its a nice change from being a warrior and can be alot of fun. Also ranger is very verstaile.

The top 4 voted here (Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Elementalist) are pretty much the top 4 you'll see universally for ANY RPG game with those roles.
Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Wizard were the most popular classes when Everquest came out.
EDIT: And by Monk I mean Cleric (Monk was an actual melee class that wasn't widely played at first but did become extremely popular later on).

Warrior, without a doubt.
Being a Tyrian Hand Axe weilding maniac in Black Elite Charr Hide armor never gets old!
Oh and my second favorite?
Paragon :O

Domination mesmer, especially with power block and diversion on his bar is my favorite thing to play. I also enjoy playing water elementalist. Generally someone, who's messing up with opposite team efficiency.

I think i may have answered before but I like Eles because of their variety. Setting things on fire is always fun too ;p
Dervish is my least favorite. Rather boring imo. Just a mix of existing stuff and some fancy Forms.

Funny that all 4 non-core professions are the bottom 4 here and in the least favourite thread, they are top 4. GW was much better with core professions only.
